Deadlines |
Applicants for the Scholarship must have applied to the University
for their course and College place by the University's deadline of 21
January 2011. Applications for the Scholarship should be made directly to the College Registrar by 31st March 2011. |
Remarks | Available annually to graduate students from Japan studying for a
higher degree in any of the subjects in which the College specialises. St Antony's College must be the applicant's first choice college. Applications should consist of a letter of application addressed to the College Registrar, a CV, research/study proposal and an academic reference. |

Wai Seng Senior Research Scholarship |

Ali Pachachi Scholarship |

Value | £7,500 towards fees and maintenance |
Remarks | One year of fee paying doctoral study in any discipline in the
humanities or social sciences with a primary focus on the social and
political issues confronting the modern Middle East. Awards are for one year, but recipients may re-apply for all three Studentships in subsequent years. Applications to include a C.V., academic transcripts, letter of reference from the thesis supervisor, and a thesis proposal of no more than 1,500 words in length. This award may not be held concurrently with other major awards such as the AHRC Doctoral Award or Clarendon Bursary. |

African Studies Scholarship |

Remarks | Open to all DPhil students of the College with preference given to unfunded and partially-funded students in their third or fourth year. Applicants should have completed fieldwork by 1 May 2011 and be writing up their thesis by that same date. |
