Grants and Scholarships Hanze Talent Scholarships Hanze UAS has scholarships to grant talented students from non EU/EEA countries applying for a Bachelor or a Master of Fine Arts programme in the academic year of 2012-2013. Non-EU/EEA students may receive a scholarship of € 3,500 (or € 5,700 for the Bachelor of Music) yearly for the official length of the programme. Have a look at the criteria below to see whether you are eligible for a scholarship. Am I eligible? 1. You must be admitted to one of the following International Bachelor or Master programmes as a new regular student: Bachelor: - Advanced Sensor Applications - International Business and Management Studies - International Communication - Physiotherapy - Fine Arts and Design - Music Master: - Fine Arts - Scenography - Painting - Interactive Media and Environments 2. You must have good study results 3. You must have an IELTS score of 6 or higher 4. You must be a student with a nationality from outside the EU/EEA. 5. The scholarship will only be granted if the student receives no other scholarship 6. The scholarship will only be granted if the student does not receive Dutch study financing 7. Selection will be on the basis of gradelist and motivation letter. How do I apply? On the Online Application Form on the website you may request a scholarship. If you meet the requirements you must tick the box on the online Application Form and send a Letter of Motivation along with your grade list. What does the Letter of Motivation need to entail? We would like to know why you believe you are a good candidate for the scholarship, what your expectations are with regards to the programme, what your career perspectives are and how the programme can contribute to this, and last but not least, how you can contribute to the Hanze UAS community. Please note Allocation of scholarships is only possible after official enrolment or re-enrolment in each academic year and upon arrival in Groningen. Deadline for Application: 1st of May Notification date: 15th of May The scholarship will be granted after enrollment. Dutch Scholarships Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) "The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) are fellowship programmes designed to promote capacity building within organizations in 60 developing countries by providing training and education to their mid-career staff members. The NFP is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation." Hanze UAS has several programmes that are eligible for NFP scholarships.
